History:
Doug is the true definition of entrepreneurship.   He has been working in and with second stage growth companies for thirty years and was the Founding Partner of Tatum LLC (“Tatum”), the largest executive services firm in the US.  Doug lead Tatum through its entrepreneurial phase to 30 offices and over 1,000 professionals and employees until its sale to Spherion in 2010. Doug is the noted author of No Man’s Land, chronicling his journey and offering best practices based on personal experiences and currently holds the Wright Travel Chair in Entrepreneurship at Middle Tennessee State University as an Associate Professor.   It is his entrepreneurial spirit, tremendous passion for second stage growth companies and their owners and the incredible depth of experience and “know how” that Doug brings to Evolution and its portfolio companies.
